Bayeux Cathedral, also known as Cathedral of Our Lady of Bayeux a Roman Catholic church in Normandy.
The Cathedral was consecrated on 14 July 1077 in the presence of William, Duke of Normandy and by then King of England, and is thought to be the site that William forced Harold Godwinson to take an oath to support to his claim to the English crown, the breaking of which led to the Norman conquest of England.
